Coronation Street won an award last night at the Royal Television Society Awards in London.
Corrie took the award for Best Soap and Continuing Drama, with the RTS congratulating the soap for “grounded, confident and utterly believable” drama.

Emmerdale won best soap 3 years running under KO. Now Corrie gets its first award in awhile. Does anyone really think KO is on the way out?
