I loved Friday night's little gem of a scene between Gemma and Niall. He was only after one thing, but as Gemma pointed out to Peter, so was she! But then the way in which Peter protected Gemma from what Niall had said about her on the phone to his mate, was just lovely. And then for Peter to chuck him out of the pub was superb.
The actor who played Niall is called Michael Dixon and he's been in Coronation Street before. Back in 2006 he played a character called Chris Pitcher, who was one of Maria Connor's fellas for a few episodes.
Actor Michael Dixon has done a great deal of TV and Film work in the UK. You might recognise him from programmes such as Holby City, Hollyoaks, Doctors, Doctor Who. Well, the list is pretty endless really. He's got a very good stage acting CV too. Check it all out here.
