Coronation Street Tour returns in 2018
There's some good news arrived on this cold, November morning.
Coronation Street the Tour is returning next year!
How brilliant is that? Well, I'm over the moon!
All we know is that the Continuum Attractions website now has a page saying this:
As yet, there are no vacancies advertised on their website for tour guides and any other staff positions.
Yours truly is going to investigate further to see if there is any further information available and I'll keep fans updated as and when news come in.
Continuum Attractions ran the latest Coronation Street Tour on the old Corrie set at Quay Street. That's the set that is now in ruins and falling to pieces. You can see those pictures here.
Whether the new Corrie Tour will set up on this old site or not, we don't yet know. Maybe the new tour will take place on the new set at Media City, I wonder? There may well be space once the set extension has been built. Who knows? Well, I'll do my best to find out!
Continuum Attractions also ran the Coronation Street on Tour attraction at Glasgow. Sadly, that has been closed for some time after the giant dome that the attraction was housed in needed repair quite early after it was opened.

It might be something like the Glasgow tour.
Haven't heard anything more than this yet. I'm an very happy to hear this. I heard a few days ago. Could it herald the return to Manchester of Aussie Pete? :P
It will be good to see you again Pete but it’s only going to be open one day a week on the Sunday
