He's Alive! Gary Windass returns from the dead

There's been a bit of spoiler situation going on this week that we have so far refrained from commenting on.

However, it's all over the tabloids today. And so, as everyone else has the story, let's go with it too.

The report I'm going to link to isn't The Sun who has broken this news. Three times in the last two weeks they've taken stories from us and used them without a credit or link.

I'm quoting the Radio Times on this one as a source which can be trusted.

"Coronation Street’s Gary Windass will be resurrected on screen after apparently being killed off. Next week’s episodes of the ITV soap will see Sarah receive news from Ukraine that her boyfriend has died in an explosion, a St Christopher he was wearing having been found at the scene. But it transpires that this isn’t the end of the story.

The tabloid (Sun) claims that Gary’s return will be shown during Coronation Street’s Christmas Day episode. However, RadioTimes.com understands that actor Mikey North’s reappearance won’t fall in the 25 December episode."

Aha! There was nothing in the news about him leaving the show, so I thought this might be a teaser! Glad Gary's still with us!

Great news! I thought if he were leaving, we'd have heard all about his "explosive exit from the cobbles."

On another note about that toilet paper rag stealing your stories, your current protection stops people from right-clicking but your site content is still easily copy-pasteable via keyboard shortcuts. The only way to stop that altogether is to stop people highlighting or to post your stories as images. Hope that's helpful!

Bring back the long dead barman/waiter we loved. He deserves to come back! Andy was a great character and a great way to dispatch phelan.
