Coronation Street barmaid publishes second crime novel
Jacqueline Chadwick (also known as Jacqueline Pirie) is best known to us Coronation Street fans as Linda Sykes, who married Mike Baldwin in Corrie. Jacqueline is now living in Canada, miles away from Weatherfield and has turned her hand to crime-writing.
She now has her SECOND crime novel published and there's another one in the pipeline too. You can read our interview with Jacqueline here.
Jacqueline's second novel is now available to order on Amazon. It's called Briefly Maiden.

To the best of my memory, Linda was never really a barmaid at the Rovers. She may have pulled a pint once or twice when Mike was one of the owners, but that's about it. She was mainly employed at Underworld. Her mother Eve, however, was briefly landlady at the pub while bigamously married to Fred Elliott. However, Eve was unceremoniously written out to make way for the triumphant return of Bet Lynch. And didn't that all work out well...not:)
