Julie Goodyear, who played Coronation Street legend Bet Gilroy, appeared at a new B&Q store last weekend - dressed in leopard print.
Julie cut the ribbon on the new kitchen and bathroom showrooms at the B&Q shop in Stockport.
During her visit she also climbed into a bath, admired some leopard print wallpaper and got stuck into helping to pot some plants, says the Manchester Evening News.
Store manager Richard Cooper said: “We are so excited to have Manchester legend Julie here to celebrate the opening of our new showrooms.”

I assume Julie is getting paid for her appearance at the B&Q. I wonder if a portion of her payment has to be given (or approved) by Corrie. Is she able to simply show up as her Corrie character and collected a wage for it? Any ideas on how that would be handled? Just curious....
Call me an ignorant yankee, but I have no idea what B&Q stands for.
B&Q plc, originally known as Block & Quayle, is a British multinational DIY and home improvement retailing company with headquarters in Eastleigh, England, United Kingdom.
Google & Wikipedia are your friends.
Similar to Home Depot in the USA.
Julie Goodyear wears leopard print in real life too. She is well known for wearing it, so it wouldn't be a surprise for her to appear dressed in it
Tee - she would be paid and Corrie would have nothing to do with it.
