I'll vote in three categories, but I cannot, in good conscience, vote for either Lucy Fallon or Sean Ward as Best Soap Newcomer. They are absolutely dire, I would rather the award went to one of the other soaps.
I'm with you, Pippa. I could NOT vote for either of those two "actors".

I'd рrefer to vote for steve's (invisible) dog than those two!!
I wish they'd offer Les Dennis in a category so I could vote for him for something. He's fitted in very well. He's a newcomer to soap, he could have been in that category!
Can anyone explain how the nomination process works? Is it fan-based, which would mean that the characters of Bethany and Callum are popular with a different demographic than those of us who comment here? Or is it industry driven, which might mean that ITV is trying to seek greater exposure for younger, lesser known actors? I agree with Flaming Nora's comment about Les Dennis, which got me curious about what goes on behind the scenes...
They're having a laugh....Callum and Bethany?? Hilarious.
Best actress = Sarah Рlatt without a shadow of a doubt, she was robbed! :)))
