Job Vacancy: ITV Soaps social media producer

Social Media Producer, Soaps (Coronation Street or Emmerdale)
6 months FTC, Leeds or Manchester

Our ITV Studios, Online and On-Demand division have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Social Media Producer to join an Award winning team for Coronation Street and Emmerdale. The purpose of the role is to create digital content to delight, entertain and maximise reach for ITV’s biggest heritage brands.

Reporting to the Editor, the successful candidate will create and deliver high profile content for our social media platforms that will help to expand our social media footprint. This social media producer will work with the Coronation Street or Emmerdale production team(s) and work to execute content day-to-day, around our campaigns and live events. You will also be required to deliver content across all of ITV’s online platforms i.e - programme website and homepage promotion.

As an editorial all-rounder and social media evangelist you will support on-air transmissions and campaigns, as well as extending reach and contributing to our Transformation Plan both commercially and creatively.

You must be familiar with trends in the digital media space and be able to adapt quickly to changing business imperatives. An excellent communicator with first class journalism skills, strong project management and a good knowledge of budgets. A true multimedia talent with experience using content management systems, expertise in social media, Photoshop, Avid, Final Cut Pro or other editing tools. This would be working on a shift basis.
