Catherine Tyldesley returns to work at Coronation Street

Catherine Tyldesley, who plays Eva Price, has returned to work at Coronation Street today. Catherine  has been on maternity leave after giving birth to baby boy Alfie in March.

Catherine revealed her return on Twitter today, confirming that it won't be long until viewers see Eva back on screen.

There have been tabloid rumours claiming that Eva Price will end up in a relationship with newcomer Aidan Connor, played by Shayne Ward.

Samia Smith, who plays Maria Connor, will be going off on maternity leave later this year.
