Coronation Street - the cleanest show on telly

This is certainly a Corrie first. Coronation Street has been recognised by Bafta with the Observer Ethical Award for film and television, effectively making The Street the cleanest programme on television. Despite the goings on behind those famous front doors, Bafta along with the Bafta Albert Consortium awarded the gong following Corrie’s recent move to it’s new set in Salford. The awards body cites attention to detail such as acquiring the 54,000 cobbles needed to create the new set from building sites and derelict streets around Salford.

As someone who works in carbon management it's great to see all they've been doing. Could totally see Sally wanting to install solar panels on her roof!
