Coronation Street actor Ryan Thomas is bankrupt, the Mirror has revealed.
Ryan, who plays Coronation Street's Jason Grimshaw, earns an estimated £90,000 a year but was declared bankrupt last week after a petition by HM Revenue and Customs.
It is understood the action follows a dispute over unpaid taxes.
Ryan’s bankruptcy order was confirmed in the High Court of Justice on October 4.

Wow, how many famous people in the past few years have declared bankruptcy over unpaid taxes? Must be nice to get out of paying the government what you owe. I know that Amanda Abbington's lawyer made a big deal out of how "embarrassing" it is for actors to declare bankruptcy (justifying why she chose to declare bankruptcy when her common-law husband is a millionaire) but it's been happening so often as of late I can't imagine it's skin off anyone's public nose anymore.
Who cares about this idiot. With his acting skills he is more than fortunate to be on the Corrie gravy train earning what most young men of his age can only dream about.
agree with FS...like Ken R. who was no talent actor riding the Corrie 'gravy train' for years because there would be no chance in hell he'd get a proper acting gig elsewhere- monotone one liners and frowns..that was the extent of his acting ability.
Haters love to hate
