Monday 7th October at 7.30pmNICK GIVES DAVID AN ULTIMATUM. At the hospital Nick’s in a foul mood, the extent of his brain damage is still unknown but Leanne’s assured he’s making good progress. At home David reveals his pact with Nick to Tina. He’s torn, not knowing whether to be relieved or worried, and when Nick summons him to his bedside he dreads the outcome. Nick remembers everything but what is he going to do about it? Meanwhile Kylie’s suspicious as to why David’s spending so much time with ex Tina.
ROY’S DRIVING TESTS HAYLEY’S NERVES. As Roy plans a surprise trip to Blackpool for Hayley before her chemo starts, she’s keen to crack on with his driving lessons. Roy’s analytical approach to driving doesn’t make things easy for Hayley, will it dampen their spirits?
STEVE’S KEEN TO EASE MICHELLE’S WORRIES. Michelle’s devastated to hear that her parents are divorcing. Determined to cheer her up Steve continues with his secret efforts to buy the pub, convinced it’s what Michelle needs. But who is Steve’s mystery backer?
ELSEWHERE Peter’s struggling with the paperwork at the factory and tells Carla they need to recruit someone to fill Michelle’s role. Sally’s convinced it will be her but when Peter takes matters into his own hands it looks like Sally may be disappointed. Meanwhile Tim comes out of hiding but will Sally buy his excuses about having to work away?

DAVID’S QUEST FOR THE TRUTH FUELS KYLIE’S SUSPICIONS. As David tells Tina he has to know if Lily is his she warns him of the pitfalls, could he handle bringing up his brother’s child? David’s not sure but he has to know and orders a DNA test. Meanwhile Kylie’s growing increasingly insecure about the amount of time David is spending with Tina but when she questions him about his whereabouts he lies, firing up Kylie’s suspicions further.
HAYLEY’S DESPERATE TO KNOW WHAT ROY’S HIDING FROM HER. As Roy continues to plans a surprise trip to Blackpool Hayley’s desperate to know his secret. Will Roy be pressured into revealing all?
STEVE’S PLAN BACKFIRES. Steve asks Stella to keep quiet for a few more days as he reveals the money for the sale of the pub is now sorted. Steve’s confident he’s giving Michelle exactly what she needs but as she stresses about her dad, who Steve seems to have accidently set up with Eileen, Stella questions his surprise tactics.
ELSEWHERE Carla’s not happy that Peter’s offered the PA’s role to Eva without consulting her but will she outwardly support his decision?

I cannot understand Nick and his bonkers behaviour. There is only a very small chance he could be Lilly's dad, and he has far more to lose if it becomes public but I suppose it creates some 'drama' for the writers and plenty of side to side eye movement exercises from the brothers Platt/Tisley!
Nick is fixated on hurting David. It may be a result of the brain injury, or just that he doesn't like it when his brother almost kills him! He's not thinking of Leanne or his marriage, although he has said in the past that he'd like children and Leanne hasn't produced any (-lately! He seems to have conveniently forgotten the abortion he made her have the 1st time they were married.) Even if the baby is his, there's no way he'd ever get custody but that's another thing he's not thinking about.
Carla moves all her men into the faktry office, and it always ends in tears. The faktry always seems to produce jobs when required, same as The Rovers.
Didn't Nick also make Natasha ( hairdresser ) have an abortion too ? Strange for someone who wants to be a father .When Natasha left in the famous black cab there was a question mark over whether she was still pregnant if so the child must be about 3 now. It would be fab for her to come back and cause ructions for Leanne ( and Simon)
Nick broke up with Natasha finding out she was pregnant but then she had the abortion on her own. When he made up with her she pretended she was still pregnant.
I agree with Frosty, can't understand why Nick is hellbent on finding out the paternity when it would surely ruin his marriage. I like most actors involved but this storyline is becoming tiresome!
