ITV have just posted a vacancy on their jobs board for a PA to the Coronation Street Producer. It's only a two month contract with a start date of Monday 14 October and a closing date of Monday 7th October.

"We
are currently looking for a PA to support our Producer for up to 2
months to cover a secondment. This is very busy and varied role to
provide a comprehensive, confidential & professional ‘one to one’
support service to the Producer.
As our PA you will play a
crucial role across a range of functions including: Extensive diary and
mail management; event organisation; travel arrangements and expenses.
You will also manage departmental leave, liaise directly with cast
members, Head of Production, and our Series Editor.
You will
have responsibility for the management of all social events on
Coronation Street ensuring smooth event management takes place.
Our
PA will have previous secretarial experience & computer skills with
the ability to work unsupervised and manage a complex workload. It is
important that you have a strong understanding of production processes
and the ability to build rapport with a diverse range of people.
You
will have strong prioritisation and organisational skills, built up
within a busy and creative office environment, a creative flair with
corporate hospitality events & knowledge of the broadcast industry
is advantageous.
Applicants will need to be available to start week commencing Monday 14th October.
