The previews are in from ITV for next week’s Corrie and Carla is worried about Roy’s online Scrabble addiction.
She tries to persuade him to play a board game at the pub instead. Roy, Brian, Mary and Evelyn embark on a game in the Rovers Return.
However when Roy discovers it was Carla’s idea as a means to distract him from his online Scrabble addiction, he takes offence and stomps out.
Can Carla help Roy this time?

Online Scrabble addiction...now that is a story I can relate to! lol After meeting David in real life, I have to say....he is a great actor. He makes Roy so real. When you meet the man in person, you do not see Roy Cropper. Amazing! With that said, I would love a game of Scrabble with Roy!
This is a change in character... I thought he was a self-confessed Luddite?
I could see Roy being addicted to a game...or the internet...all that information, all those train schedules...oooohhh heaven for Royston
Where did that come from? Roy is the most non-tech person on the Street. That said, Words With Friends, the real life online Scrabble, is pretty addictive. I must catch up........chara!
Carla left her devices hanging around the flat for too long? The man with the landline succumbed! I think this appeals to his solo nature.
