Conversation Street Podcast Episode 387
On our latest podcast, we cover the episodes of Coronation Street broadcast in the UK between the 21st and the 25th October.
The annual October Super Soap Week is here again, and this year, Corrie's gone all filmic to mark the occasion. But behind the sheen of the film stock, background music and fades to black, did it have some epic stories and powerhouse performances to back it up? You'd better believe it! This week, it all kicks off at Highfield Prison, and Josh finds himself with his life in David's hands. Meanwhile, as Sinead's life draws close to the end, Daniel's spirals out of control, and a moment of madness with Bethany leaves him with a difficult decision to make indeed...
After a somewhat sombre Street Talk, we move onto a much more lighthearted look at Halloween in Weatherfield and Corrie's brushes with the paranormal. From Hilda's séance to Dev and Kirk's encounter with the Black Ball Butcher, we share our thoughts on the times when Corrie crossed over to the other side (and no, we don't mean the BBC!) Next up on the podcast, we chat about Monday's Audrey Roberts tribute show in the Kabin, then finish things off with more of your listener feedback.
