Geoff has crabs. He decides that he's cooking a meal for Tim, Sally and Yasmeen. She protests that she has to work, but Alya gives her the evening off. Michelle and Cathy persuade Yas to go to a pre-prandial wine tasting at the Bistro, much to Geoff's displeasure. He's been digging up swede (in June!) from Tim's allotment for his swede 'n' crab surprise and can't understand why Yasmeen would need some Dutch courage to face this. When she finally gets back to the house, she's missed the starter and then Geoff pretends he's killed her fave chicken. He's all smiles when Sal is there but as soon as she's left, he starts with the passive-aggression, and moves onto insulting his girlfriend, calling her a drunk. She makes romantic advances on him, but he says he's sleeping in the spare room.
DUMP HIM, YASMEEN.
Meanwhile another bad boyfriend, Robert, goes to the "travel agents" again i.e. Vicky's house. She questions his relationship with Michelle (I thought she knew he was back with her and that was the reason he couldn't be with his baby-mama?). He tells her lies, sweet little lies - Michelle can't know about them because of her miscarriage. He also tells Michelle that he has been detained by an accident on the M60, but Ryan (who listens to the traffic news because he likes the sexy voice of the announcer), calls him out on it.
Meanwhile, Mary's run off her feet in the florists as Tracy is still doing her ladycabs thing. She finds an underemployed Steve reading the paper in the cab office and orders him over to Preston's Petals to learn the trade as a flower arranger. Steve puts on his best Jack Duckworth, saying he can't be in confined spaces, bend down, or stand up. He attempts to pick up some thistles with his bare hands and is soon sent back to the cab office with bandages on his fingers. Steve lures Tim round to his to build a wardrobe in order to placate our Trace, but they build it in the living room, because they're daft ha'porths.
And Chemma go to their 12 week scan, where they meet a woman who suggests that they sell their story to the press. "From Blob To Quad," suggests Gemma as a headline, but Chesney is unkeen, even forbidding Gemma from putting the scan photos on the internet.
