The New Year edition of the fab Inside Soap magazine is in the shops today and there's some spoilers of what's in store for Coronation Street in 2019.
Alexandra Mardell, who plays Emma in Coronation Street reveals the great news (for this fan, as I love Emma!) that she's staying on Corrie.
Asked what she is most excited about for 2019, Alexandra says: "I'm staying at Corrie for a little longer, which I'm ecstatic about."
She also says that 2019 will bring Emma more love as she searches for her Mr Right. She reckons Emma and Chesney are a good match and definitely could have a future together.
Alexandra also says that she'd like to work more scenes with Sally Ann Matthews who plays Jenny Connor.
Emma is such a wonderful character, I'm really pleased to hear Alexandra is staying on the Street for longer.

i'm also happy that Emma is staying longer,she's wonderful character and a breath of fresh air to the Street.
