Preview of tonight's Coronation Street - Mon 5 Mar

MONDAY MARCH 5TH 2018
PHELAN IS UP TO HIS NECK IN IT As Eileen puts the finishing touches to the party an uneasy Phelan arrives at the Mill to discover the pumping of the lake is well underway. As the day draws to a close and the workmen leave he is horrified to see one of the bodies emerging from the subsiding water. Grabbing his waders he manages to pull both bodies out and exhausted he drops them both in a column mould in the foundations of the mill and turns on the concrete. Back at the house the party is starting and Eileen calls Pat to see where he has got to. As his phone buzzes the vibration causes it to fall off scaffolding and into the foundations and as he tries to retrieve it Phelan falls into the unset concrete….
KATE CHOOSES RANA Unaware of Kate and Rana’s reunion an oblivious Sophie invites Kate round for tea, Rosie also invites Imran and the pair are forced to accept. But when Sally raises a toast to Sophie and Kate an uncomfortable Kate realises she has to let Sophie go and asks to speak to her alone.
ELSEWHERE Fiz feels a bit put out when Tyrone tells her how much help Sean has been whilst she was away.

MONDAY MARCH 5TH 2018
IS THIS THE END OF PHELAN? With the party in full swing Eileen is desperately trying to get hold of Phelan but to no avail. Tim offers to run her to the Mill to see if he is there. Meanwhile as the bad weather intensifies the scaffolding falls on Phelan and he finds himself trapped in the concret unable to pull himself out. As he loses consciousness in the rising concrete will Tim and Eileen get there in time or is this the end of Phelan?
SOPHIE IS DEVASTATED Sophie tells Rosie and Imran that Kate has dumped her. Imran confronts Rana but she tells him to back off as Zeedan has give them the go ahead for her and and Kate to be together.

Bring Back Todd/Bruno.... said...

Is this the end of Phelan? Highly unlikely as we know he goes over a cliff somewhere in Cumbria....or was that a red herring? Doubtful. What bothers me is whether Andy & Vinnie's bodies are going to get found. They better had!

I daresay that the Cumbria scenes are not a red herring as I suppose it must have cost ITV a considerable amount of money to go there and film. It therefore seems more likely that Phelan will escape once again this week, although Eileen apparently finds out about his building scam but keeps quiet about it. I wonder if this is what sparks off the apparent confrontation between her and Phelan in Cumbria? However Phelan is eventually written out I hope it brings ALL of his crimes to light and everyone sees him for the monster he is.

I think Tim and Eileen rescue him but not his phone. While in Cumbria I am guessing the bodies will be found along with his phone proving that he is a killer or at least has knowledge of these bodies. Then Liz phones Eileen to tell her and the fight at the cliff happens..Just a guess.

He should be in the dock with Anna gloating.....big raspberry for Eileen...nyah nyah nyah.

That is exactly where Phelan should be; in the dock being sentenced to life imprisonment with Anna having the satisfaction of seeing him send down and her innocence proved and Eileen being shunned for believing every word he said without question and perhaps facing prosecution herself for concealing the fact that she knew about his building scam which she is apparently about to discover.
