Inside Soap magazine reveals awards shortlist

Readers of Britain’s best-selling soap magazine have been busy voting since June for their favourite stars and shows, in categories including ‘Best Actor’ and ‘Best Actress’, ‘Best Newcomer’, ‘Sexiest Female’, ‘Best Shock Twist’ and, of course, ‘Best Soap’.

Steven Murphy, editor of Inside Soap, said: “It’s been a big year in soapland, full of gripping plots, shout-at-your-telly twists and accomplished performances. The competition is tougher than ever, but if anyone can make the right decision, it’s the readers of Inside Soap – Britain’s original and best TV soap magazine. Our Awards are always a fantastic way to celebrate another great year in soap – it’s a night where everyone leaves feeling like a winner.”

Why is Danny Dyer always nominated? He couldn't act his way out of a paper bag.
