- Actually, when it's put to her like that, I quite agree with her distress. (If her anger went no further that on this occasion). Although it's all of her own making.
She's lost her employment in a profession, a calling if you will. A profession - not a dead-end job that Tyrone has fixed her up with, which he thinks is of equal merit.
The police corruption side of this story doesn't ring true. First, I can't believe that Kirsty would wreck her career on the basis of being the local hero or whatever was her motivation. Secondly, Tyrone is no stranger to the police force. He was brought up by a mother who was often the wrong side of the law and Tyrone, himself, had several run-ins. He would be well aware that the police have to do things by the book and he wouldn't want his fiancee to do anything unprofessional. They've dumbed Tyrone down recently when, at one time, he was quite street-wise.
I'm curious about something, how old is baby Jack now? he still looks newborn, surely, he is about 2 years old at least?
