I've had a moan about it over here and there's a poll to fill out as well. Who have been the most ill-conceived couple in recent history, Molly and Kevin, Sunita and Karl or Eileen and Paul? Results will be posted at the end of the month in the State of the Street wrap up.

Hmm, that's a tough one. Can't we just leave it as a three way tie?
That's an impossible choice. All those couples have made me feel ill.
What makes me even more ill is that I have someone on my Facebook list who is somehow capable of evoking the same cringeworthy relationship merely by virtue of posting daily status updates (sometimes hourly). I hope he turns out to be a serial killer or some such thing!
Sunita and Karl are making me sick in a way that Molvin didn't to the same degree. We never saw a close up of Kevin squeezing Molly's bum did we?
Eileen and Paul were just irritating.
Molvin all the way. Made me nauseous.
Paul and Eileen bar none. The storyline ruined Eileen for me and I can't wait to see the end of the character, even though I doubt they'll get rid of her. The writers should think in the long term rather than just grabbing ratings for the moment. Sunita as well has become a total douche and she's another I hope is gone soon.
Well sorry to disappoint you Anonymous above but "Paul tries to win back Eileen" next week so its not the last we have seen of his stupid face. Karl and Sunita has to be the worst couple ever, the close ups of his aging hands groping her pert behind are truly NOT want we want to see in our favourite soap. Personally I hate the Carla/Peter/Vodka coupling also.
It's the leering, groping and appalling dialogue which make this relationship so dreadful. Once again poor writing is making a dodgy story a million times worse.
Eileen and Paul have no chemistry; Molvin was ridiculous; but this couple are - well, for once, words fail me. It's an insult to the actors too.
What's happened to the writers? Have they lost the plot or are these Unbelievable storylines being written at 3am when they just write down whatever they think up first bring back taste
All the couples are cringeworthy but Paul and Eileen can add 'dispicable and selfish' to their relationship, and Karl and Sunita take the biscuit for being totally, utterly repellent. Karl is a lech and Sunita seems to revel in turning him on.
Molly and Kevin were the most unlikely pairing ever. Paul and Eileen are awful. Tiresome and annoying and in such poor taste. But Karnita just make me want to lose my lunch....Shudder!....
my current theory on Karl and Sunita is that she was originally supposed to hook up with Kieran(whom she actually has both history and chemistry) but Keith Duffy din't come back so the slotted Karl in instead. The whole show is so lazily written right now I'm not even watching please let TPTB wise up soon I hate this its all splash and no substance..
