Who would YOU bring back for Corrie's 60th anniversary?

In the months leading up to Coronation Street's 60th anniversary this December, there's going to be a lot of speculation about what the show might do to celebrate.

Well, it seems as if the tabloids have started speculating early, with The Mirror reporting that Emily Bishop might be back. I doubt it, unless it's by Skype again.

Who would you bring back for a guest appearance on the show for the 60th?

Me? I vote Spider, of course.

Bet Lynch. Always!

For a one off appearance rather than a full return, I'd choose Shelley and Bev, Spider and Amber. But most of all, Bet.

Bet Lynch!!!!!!!
As for Becky and Karen, those actresses have had such success in their careers they will never go back to Corrie, not even for a visit.

Has to be Bet, just for one last time. I want to see her make up with Rita, they were really good friends. And also Mavis.

If it were a permanent return, Sean’s son Dylan. He’d be about 12 now, old enough for an decent storyline. He could be a pal for Max and/or Summer, esp if his mom had died, something sad they all have in common. Sean suddenly becoming a single parent would interesting to watch.

For a quick visit, Martin, Spider and Eva, maybe Anna.

I'd love to see the following characters back on screen, but on a more permanent basis, not just a guest role.
In no particular order:

~Todd & Jason Grimshaw
~Sian Powers
~Becky McDonald
~Craig Harris
~Rosie & Sophie Webster
~Graeme Proctor
~Rob Donovan

And if only it was possible to bring back the dead:
~Tina McIntire
~Kylie Platt
~Liam Connor
~Katy Armstrong

EMILY AND BECKY!

Agreed. Sean as a single dad would be amazing. :-)

The appearance would have to be "grand" to mark the occasion. I would choose Bet Lynch, although I'd long for Emily to have a short return stint though - spanning around three months from late 2020 to January 2021 as that will mark 60 years since she first appeared. Emily's death could bring brief returns for Freda and Spider, and potentially cameos from her old friends Doreen Lotstock and Sheila Crossley.

Becky should come back. Love her. Karen would also be great. Graham would also be great comedy. I don't understand why people are asking for charactors who died to come back? They were killed off, no returns. Sian, Blanche, Rob, Tina, Sian, Liam, Katy and of course our beloved Kylie. Oh and no more story lines for Sean needed, thank you.

Is Sian dead? Rob's definitely not dead. I would like him to return one day. The script writers made up a flimsy reason for Tracy being released early, I'm sure they could do the same for Rob!

I would definitely love Becky to return I think she was a very relatable character and she had great storylines with the really sad miscarriage and her comedy side when she got hammered on her wedding day I really loved watching Becky back in 2010 I was about 5 then and she just really had a lot to give to the show I loved her side where she was very protective of max adorable so yes I would love to see her back on our screens I thought she would of been back for Kylie funeral but she sadly wasn’t but lots of love xxxx
