Hot on the heels of our announcement yesterday that Corrie's Sian Reeves, who plays Tim's Las Vegas wife, Charlie, is to appear in a national stage tour, we've got more news.

Now, Shayne Ward, who played Aidan Connor in Coronation Street, is taking to the stage in Kay Mellor's Band of Gold. Kay Mellor, you might recall, is the mother of Gaynor Faye who played Judy Mallett in Corrie. Also in the play is Sacha Parkinson, who played Sophie's girlfriend Sian.
You can catch Shayne and Sacha in Band of Gold at Darlington Hippodrome all of next week from Monday 27 January to Saturday 1 February.

Looks like Gaynor Faye is in it too, as well as Shayne Ward and Sacha Parkinson. So 3 former Corrie actors.
