Faye Brookes and Bhavna Limbachia who play Kate Connor and Rana Nazir in Coronation Street, were interviewed together on ITV's This Morning show this week.
Faye said: "Our heart and soul is in this," and the two women talked about the research that they'd undertaken at the start of the storyline which sees Rana and Kate in a relationship and Rana and Zeedan carrying on with a marriage as one only of convenience.
Faye said that the response to the storyline has been "unbelievable."
