I've been a big fan of the BBC2 programme Back in Time for Tea. It takes a modern-day family of five from Bradford and sends them back in time to the beginning of the century to find out what life was like for families just like them.
The family cooks and eats the food from each decade of the century while working in the same jobs that their counterparts would have done. And they also enjoy some of the cultural activities that people in their situation would have done too.
Last night on the programme, the family ate and worked their way through the 1960s and enjoyed watching the first programme of a new show from the north. It's worth watching just to see their reactions. And yes, Ken Barlow's still in it.
