The previews are in for next week’s Coronation Street and Carla and Aidan are wheeled down to the operating theatre for Carla’s kidney transfer from Aidan.
At the hospital Johnny and Roy bond over their love of Carla as they wait for news of the operation. As first Aidan and then Carla are brought back from the theatre and when Carla returns and awakes she tells them all she has an announcement to make. She then starts the process of transferring the factory to Aidan, as a surprise.
Johnny needs to stay in Weatherfield to look after Carla and Aidan and Jenny is disappointed when he tells her they can’t go to Spain until Aidan and Carla recover. Later, Liz joins Johnny at Roy’s allotment and over a bottle of brandy she starts to question his plans to leave his family behind and move to Spain. Johnny is given food for thought.
When Aidan and Carla come out of hospital Jenny is feeling left out by the Connor family chatter at the flat and heads out. As she passes the garage Kevin spots she is looking a bit low and offers to lend a friendly ear. She tells Kevin she feels like an outsider when she is with the Connors.

Ugh - please don't let be leading to Jenny and Kevin having an affair/getting back together. I really like Jenny and Johnny together. :(
A kidney for a factory? Sounds rather 'Merchant of Venice-y'. lol
but we all know that Aiden is leaving the show..why would Carla be signing over the factory? Does not make much sense.
Maybe Carla didn't read the spoiler about Aiden leaving the show...
