There have been plenty of pictures online over the last few months showing the state of decay as the old Coronation Street set rots away to nothing.
And there's a new video online too, taken just last month by an urban explorer who runs the Decayed Britain website.
You can watch the video below. It's sad, it's heartbreaking, but at the end of the day, it's inevitable that these sorts of things will happen.
However, all is not lost. The new Coronation Street set is opening to the public for tours from April this year! Find out more on that here.

I wonder why they bothered. I don't see anything different in the new one. Was there something wrong in the old one?
I always thought it probably made more economic sense. The rest of the Granada building was moving. The new set is on a bigger scale but they did a really good job on making it as unnoticeable as possible. Apart from the extra window in the Rovers. Haha!
Someone left a light on in one of the upper rooms....it's in the first couple of shots...weird...and creepy.
How sad to see it in such a state. As the buildings were just shells anyway, it probably wouldn't have been too difficult to move the whole lot elsewhere and carry on making money from tours.
