Susie Blake reveals why she turned down Corrie return
Susie Blake, who played Bev Unwin in Coronation Street, was interviewed on The Wright Stuff this week on Channel 5.
And she revealed an interesting snippet about going back to Weatherfield.
Susie was asked, if she could pen her own storyline for Bev's return to Corrie, what would that storyline be.
Susie replied: "By now, if she's my age, she needs an allotment! But it would be great to get out there, I loved it when we went on location. I mean it's great to work behind the bar because you're there fairly regularly and that's good for the old pay packet but it's very, very nice to get out on location and sit about. It's really lovely."
And when asked if she would like to go back to Corrie, she said: "I was asked ....but I had another job. I think I've played that part now. I'd love to. I'd love to go back for a short time, but the fun of this profession is playing lots of different parts."

Was never a big fan of this character, but I really liked her daughter Shelley. Would have loved to find out how things turned out for her after she left the street pregnant with Charlie's baby.
