Coronation Street Tours set to return in 2018
Well, this is interesting! There are plans on the Trafford Council website from ITV relating to the current Coronation Street set.
And the plans are for the following:
Change of use to allow accompanied guided tours of the existing Coronation Street Lot. | Coronation Street Lot Trafford Wharf Road Trafford Park M17 1FZ
So it does indeed appear as if there will be guided tours of the current Corrie set in the future!
And in the final planning supporting statement attached to the plans it states that the tours will only be available on Sundays and will run from April to September from 9am to 6pm and from October to March from 9am to 4pm.
Last year we blogged that the Contiuum website reported that they were reprising Coronation Street tours. However, the page has since disappeared from their website. But their website does say "Watch this space..." with regards to Coronation Street the Tour. As soon as we know anything more, we'll let you know!
You can view the full plans here.
