Tina is about to give baby Jake back to Izzy and Gary this week and they're speculating that she turns to the bottle to deal with the pain.
The paparazzi pics show her in a confrontation with a few unruly types and later, Marcus happens along and tries to talk to her.

Ah yes, typical British soaps, if the going goes wrong hit the bottle, that will sort it all out.
What a bunch of weaklings the characters are. I bet this is the current writers idea of "strong" characters.
Her dad was addicted to prescription painkillers so it wouldn't be unusual to see that happen, although you'd think the events of August 2009 would stay with her (Joe breaking into the medical centre in search of pills).
I guess she's going to do a 'Lauren Branning' and go off the rails..drink until her liver's shot in order to kill the pain of .. whatever. Tommy will call it quits on their relationship and she'll go around the street swilling vodka like it's water..then...she'll leave..hooray!!!
O, I hope the bottle wasn't too hurt. Or else it will end up at Wethy General with a tube down its neck.
The kid in the red jacket is trying to act hard as nails but it looks like he needs to take a dump! Lol
So solution to all problems is either violence (David) or booze (Tina)?? Just like Becky - things don't work out? Get drunk.
Tina should've had counselling all along re: the surrogacy and certainly counselling after-the-fact to help her deal with it.
The drinking just manages to perpetuate the stereotypical - oh, you're a Brit? You must be drunk all the time. *sigh*

I'm American, and I watch many Brit shows. It is true that getting drunk is the default response when characters are sad, upset, disappointed, you name it. It does get old and very predictable when watching Brit shows. Other than that, I love your TV shows. But the whole "I'm sad = gotta get drunk" plot device is so tired and cliche. I've been watching Emmerdale, and unfortunately many of their characters also turn to alcohol in times of stress.
Get drunk when you've had the slightest of tiffs even... and then go try and climb onto a table in the pub or the bistro... and fall unless the other patrons grab you and set you down...the establishment's management steer you out the door...
... yeah it DOES get tiring when you see this over and over...
God I hope she drinks herself to death! Runs her car into the canal, off a cliff or down the stairs... since they're recycling David's tricks, why not? False birthday card anyone?
I love the way these guys can just toss them back..like it's mild cold tea or summat..nobody gasps or makes faces..they just chug away..whole glasses at a time and then up and walk out like it was nothing.
Maybe she'll turn to drinking (more than just this once) and her and David will end up back together wreaking havoc and it will break up Tina and Tommy. I'd like to see more for Tommy than just following Tina like a little puppy.
I'm amazed at how these guys can hold their liquor...she's drinking vodka straight from the bottle, meanwhile half a pint for me and I need to go lie down.
