Corrie director includes son's music on Rovers jukebox
Coronation Street director Terry Dyddgen-Jones has arranged for one of his son’s band's songs to be aired during a scene at the Rovers Return, says The Sun.
Terry's son is singer-songwriter Sion Russell Jones, 27.
Mr Curry Sauce told The Sun: “Terry is respected and hugely popular, so when he asked if he could give his son a bit of a leg up by getting his music played in The Rovers no one had a problem.
He was open about it and got it approved by the relevant people. Just under nine million viewers watched the episode on which the track was played. You can’t get much better exposure than that.”
Check out Sion's website here where you can hear some of his rather fab music and follow him on twitter at http://twitter.com/SRJmusic

It's only a pity that when you hear the song on screen, you don't know what it is. Do they list credits like that at the end of the show?
