Coronation Street, Wednesday 12th June
THE WINDASSES BEGIN THEIR FIGHT FOR JAKE. Tina tries to bury her guilt as Gary and Izzy plead with her to reconsider. With Tommy by her side Tina stands firm but as the Windasses/Armstrongs begin their assault, vowing to fight through the courts and turfing Tina out of Owen’s flat will she waiver?
DEV EXHAUSTS EVERY AVENUE. As Dev questions Stella about the night of the fire she reminds him that the Rovers keys were found in Sunita’s things. Seizing on this Dev wonders if someone planted the keys after the hospital gave him an inventory of her possessions when she was admitted. Karl’s terrified as Dev edges ever closer to the truth.
EILEEN’S PROUD AS PAUL’S HAILED A HERO. When a reporter tips up on Eileen and Paul’s doorstep, with the boy Paul saved and his mum, it’s news to Eileen. She’s shocked to hear about the dangerous fire but she’s touched by Paul’s heroism. Will Eileen be able to put aside her fears and support her man?
Elsewhere Kylie resolves to do something nice for David as a thankyou for his support during her pregnancy. Rob gets a new job.

I like the pace of Dev's investigation, not too fast and not too slow. It seems to me that he must get to the truth in the end. I'd love to know how Craig fits in the story, but I expect it will all come out in the end. Dev is starting to suspect Karl now, I nearly dropped my wine and fell off the sofa when he told Steve and Lloyd that Karl was responsible! I don't think it is a coincidence that Karl is always there when Dev is asking questions. It would be logical for Karl to be stalking Dev as he is so worried about what he will find out. The trouble is that he is attracting suspicion to himself in the process. John Mitchie is very good actor and his facial expressions say it all. Jimmy Harkishan is doing a good job now. I found him too much when he was sobbing, sniffing and blubbing over Sunita's funeral.
Jimmi's acting skills have taken a marked turn for the better in his investigation of Sunita and the fire - not so over the top..thoroughly enjoying him.
