Ugh, I'm already tired of this "will they, won't they" Eileen and Paul BS. Please make it stop. Please?
I am quite enjoying Devendra Columbo's bumbling efforts to find out the truth - watch out for Karl appearing every time he is questioning somebody - you just want to shout - HE'S BEHIND YOU!!!
Karl has pulled his velcro coating off St Ella, and has now firmly attached it to Dev. Like Chesney with Ryan and Katie, he'll be coming up through manhole covers and parachuting from planes whenever Dev is in Columbo mode. The writers have unwittingly turned Corrie into a stupid sitcom. The writing is that shoddy.
It wouldn't take much to be subtle. As above, Karl's timely appearances are getting comical. Let him overhear in the Rovers that Dev had been visiting people. And as for wielding an ornament behind Dev's back, it's just silly.
