Wonderful gurning this week from both Steve and Lloyd!
Misplaced Guilt: Siblings have so much baggage, don't they? It's hard to see Carla feeling guilty over how it went down with Rob.
Foot in Mouth award: Sylvia joking to Tina about giving her son away. Oops.
Passive Aggressive award: Sean managed to let Maria know about the wedding by making small talk about it to Audrey and insinuated the gossip to their mates at the wedding.
Naive award: Steve and Lloyd aren't recognizing the signs of stress in Eileen, preferring to think she's just a going concern.
Music Fail: Comfortably Numb is a Pink Floyd song, not Kate Bush.
Inevitable Award: Tina might have been able to hand over the baby if he hadn't got so sick.
Lines of the week:
Kirk: "Sexism has no place in Delivery and distribution"
Gloria "Some things and some people are best left forgotten" (You wouldn't say that if it was your mother/partner)
Rob to Peter "You think you're the big man" Peter "No, I think I'm the better man, and that's something coming from a bloke like me"
Steve "I don't want to be buried in case i'm not dead and I wake up" (but you were talking about cremation. Be a bit difficult to wake up from that!)
Michelle "Tracy, anyone with half a brain could fool you"
Sylvia to Roy "We are not about to be decimated by bubonic plague"
Sean to Eileen "See ya, you old scrubber"
Eileen "Deirdre Barlow, are you a man or a mouse?"
Deirdre "They tell many stories, my belts"
Tina "I'm selling my baby. I might as well stick him on eBay"

'comfortably Numb' was also covered by The Scissor Sisters but they're still not Kate Bush.
I think Steve was saying how he rather to be cremated than buried because he could be still alive if he was buried. Once cremated, he's definitely dead.
Mawkish scene of the week award: When Inspector Alahan started blubbing to Adele in Sally’s house we could not stop laughing it was so ridiculous and hammy.
Shadow award: Whenever Devindra Columbo complete with Mac questions anyone about the fire – lo and behold Karl appears behind him wearing his worried expression – its actually becoming amusing.
Didn’t take her long award: Rita sticking her oar in again, although what she did say made sense: Jake is not Tina’s baby. It’s always what TINA wants though.
NHS Staff Cuts award: Surely there would be monitoring staff around in a unit with tiny sick babies and you would need some kind of hygienic protection before you entered and the unit would be locked? There seems to be absolutely no nurses or doctors around again – like when Sunita was in the intensive care unit – and anyone can just blunder in and out as they like and have shouting matches.
Inconsistent Mates award: Steve and Lloyd robustly stuck up for and by Dev against Karl then in the next minute were agreeing with Karl that Dev was off his trolley – eh? This is obviously down to sloppy writing (again).
Saving Grace award: Deirdre! She's been a drip for so long that it was a delightful surprise to see her taking life (aka Tracy) by the scruff of its neck. Made up for a lot of Corrie rubbish lately.
More scenes like that please award: Deirdre and Eileen, getting bladdered
And Kate Bush actually did do Comfortably Numb

Tina "I'm selling my baby. I might as well stick him on eBay"
Er - when did you actually realise this was always a financial transaction, Tina? This whole storyline has annoyed me from the outset. You want a surrogate to carry your child for you. Who do you go for: someone off the internet who's experienced, who's provided the service to other couples in the past and has thus been able to contain any emotional investment in the process or the young, frequently emotionally fragile barmaid from the local?
BAH!
Heheh I actually laughed when Sylvia joked about giving her son away. Then I realised who she was talking to...
This needs to be a sitcom award: Deirdre and Eileen putting the world to rights over a drink was the best scene of the week for me. I really could watch a whole episode of that.
How soon we forget...Ty agreeing that maybe Dev is off his head. Was he not drawn, quartered and hung out to day when he had done nothing wrong? He should be helping Dev IMO.
When Steve mentioned about not wanting to wake up after people thought he was dead...he said this as a way of explaining why he wants to be cremated. - not that he would wake up after being creamated. lol
