The pictures are in, the press release is doing the rounds, and we all know by now that next week Coronation Street goes up in flames as the Rovers Return sets on fire and Sunita will die.
But who will the other person be who dies in the flames?
ITV have already confirmed that more than one person will die in the Rovers Return fire and that it won't be a regular character.
So who will it be?
I'm wondering if this Toni woman that's just come in from the fire station will be the one to snuff it?
We know it can't be Paul, Stella or Karl because we've seen paparazzi pictures of all three of those either at Sunita's funeral or in an upcoming storyline. And Corrie would never kill off one of their main attractions like Tina, Jason or heaven forbid, Rita. So who will it be? What do you think?

I have to agree that it will be Toni who has suddenly been brought to the fore with scenes of her drinking in the Rovers with Paul and an increasingly silly Eileen. But I dont really see the point of introducing a character just to kill them off when none of us really know or care about them.
According to All About Soap magazine, it is Toni.
ithink its stupid they dident need a fire just close the place for a face lift .killing sunita is auful she should of just leaft to go to a sick parent .or one of her aunties needed her and thats it stay there .i dont like this buttercup canada
Burning it down for a facelift? Crazy (but that's never stopped anyone), since they're moving to a new set soon enough. They only needed competitive pressure or a nudge from Newton & Ridley to redecorate. Uggh, that plus St. Ella's on and off Karl button, I wish the writers had someone on the ball with character and storyline integrity.
Yeah, Toni makes about as much dramatic sense as the unseen tram passenger, unless its to make Eileen look like a prat and get Paul to leave in disgust. I hate the idea of two decent moms with a bunch of kids being killed off like this. Wish it were someone a bit more pointless and unpleasant like Gloria or Tracy. Oh well.
abbyk - I think you are on the right track about why Toni will be the other death in the fire. Eileen will probably become jealous when Paul acts devastated for perhaps a little too long after Toni's death, maybe blaming himself, thus pushing him into leaving her......which I must say is a plus from the fire - they were never suited to begin with.
It had better not be one of my favourite people, the regular Extras!
Actually, my money is on Toni too, but do you know what? After watching this show from the first episode, I think I really don't care who it is - and I don't give a stuff about whether Katy and Ches break up, or if Sylvia bakes with pot, or if all of them take off to the moon!
No, scratch that, if they all took off to the moon, we would at least have one original storyline!
It will be Steph, Katy's young and vivacious friend who had a crush on Ryan. She finds out about Katy's betrayal and comes to the Rovers to sort it out when the fire breaks. Ryan will be left devastated, blaming himself and chewing what is left of the scenery with his Shakespearean acting skills. Katy, will a complex web of emotions: anger, jealousy,guilt,relief,self-hatred all expertly played like the seasoned pro that Katy is. O, what, is it morning?
It will probably be Toni; that Eileen is a spectre of death, isn't she? Everyone who comes on the scene in her life bites it shortly thereafter (Dad, Lesley, etc.).
However, it would be very nice if it was Gloria. Then Stella could find out she's been left millions (swindled from all Glo's manfriends over the years and squirreled away). Then Stella could leave the Street, take Karl and Dev with her (she's good for a two-fer) and Eva could take over the Rovers with Jason. Done.
Yes..it's Toni. Her death will send Paul over the edge..some sort of trauma and he'll leave the street.
Kevin?
Oh please let it be Owen! Run in to get everyone sorted in his control freak, act before you think way. He's an annoying waste of space now, he can go.
My money's on Toni. She'll cark it in the fire, Paul will be inconsolable, paranoid Eileen will emerge once more and the fireman will sod off out of Weatherfield, leaving Eileen with an engagement ring and a lifetime of regret. However, if this means we get the old Eileen back, then burn that firefighter!
what about dr carter i hope it ist though
Please, let it be Tracy Barlow.
