Pic: Corrie's Alison King goes to work in her onesie

It's a fashion statement that Carla Connor would definitely not make, not in public anyway. But actress Alison King, who plays Carla, was snapped by paparazzi going to work on the Coronation Street set wearing her onesie.

Perhaps Alison took fashion tips from Corrie colleague Ryan Thomas, who plays Jason Grimshaw, as he went to work in his onesie some weeks ago. You can see a picture of Ryan in his onesie here.

There are more pictures of Alison in her oneside at the Daily Mail online.

What do you think about onesies - right? wrong? just plain daft?

Ali is absolutely beautiful! Love that she wore her onsie, I for one think she looks stunning!

This Onesie madness MUST STOP.

When kids started wearing pyjama bottoms out in public, it was only inevitable people would start wearing full pjs. I really think they're only suited to in-home but what do i know?

I think that Alison King is drop dead gorgeous and can just about pull off a onesie even though it's not the most flattering of attire.

I think the folk over at the Daily mail are just jealous judging by the tone of the article.

She obviously wears it for comfort while travelling but its not flattering, makes her legs look really short.

Carla would never wear it, even at home, but Ali King isn't Carla and I find it refreshing that she prefers comfort over glamour!

And yet when I ride on public transport without any pants, I'm some sort of pervert.

She'd look good in a bin bag. I think the DM article was very nasty actually, bringing up her age a lot. She's not even old!

Those onesies look very well designed. They're from Norway and I bet the fabric is a nice light, but tough cotton blend. I love the snowflake design, reminds me of the Fair Isle jumpers that became a rage after seen on the Sarah Lund character in The Killing. I like the detail in the zipper, with a nice big pull, and they're got a hood! Very practical, far from indoor pyjamas. Must cost a few bob I bet.

I'm in my 60s and still wear Converse running shoes.
