Back in 2006 when the Connor clan were first introduced, they were billed as being Corrie's own "Mitchell brothers" only for Paul to leave within a year and Liam a year after that.
For a while the Connor clan seemed dead and gone, except from Carla, but ever since Michelle and Maria were brought into the factory, there seems to be something of a sisterhood that has bloomed.
This shined through in tonight's episodes with both Maria and Michelle sticking up for Carla, and supporting her at the trial, I hope that following the trial, Corrie will build on their relationship, as I think they all have good potential.

I have not yet seen Monday's episode being an expat, but what are Michelle and Maria going to think of Carla with someone else's hubby again?? Can't imagine that's going to go down well with the sisterhood!
Especially Maria.. since it was her hubby that was the last "Love of" Carla's life!!!

Both Michelle and Maria are pointless characters these days, any talk of "sisterhood" is just rubbish I am afraid. How Maria forgave Carla for being instrumental in Liam's death I dont know and Michelle either but everyone seems to run around Carla even though she usually treats them like sommat she stepped in. Not credible I am afraid that these two should be acting like lap dogs around her.
Because some people rather to forgive and move on. Holding grudges weigh you down. I have seen some people like Carla, Michelle and Maria in my life. Maybe if you leave your home, you'll find that it's exactly the same.
And let's face it, Liam was just as much to blame as Carla.
As if it's that long since Liam died!
I think it is unrealistic the way Michelle and Maria have forgiven Carla for all her previous wrong doings. But I agree with Chewy, they make a good trio, even though I'm not a fan of Michelle. However, Maria needs to dye her black if she wants to fit in!
Very true Tvor.. Liam was as much to blame for wanting to have his cake and eat it too :)
But to discover that Carla is having another passionate affair with ANOTHER married man might hit a bit close to home for Maria...?
And how can Maria forget so soon that Carla set her up as bait at that meeting with Frank?? And then, for the sake of the business, actually withdrew her support of Maria regarding Frank's crawling all over her at that meeting??
Man, short memories, folks!
Oh, and forgiving is one thing, but becoming buddies with the broad who was stealing my husband?? I don't think so.

Who can Maria be friends with then?
Maria has always been a close friend of Fizz, Tyrone and Audrey. Sure I heard theyr were planning to match her up with the Doc though.
