Once again, in this post I must give a massive shoutout to Mark Whitfield and his site, without his monthly updates via the MediaCity UK flickr I would not be able to post this feature (and timeline) of pictures.
There looks to be a lot of ground work going on at the site now, I don't think it will be too long before we see something going up as the foundations are now being laid. Don't forget to click the links for more images, and the picture below for a bigger view.

I have a friend here who is obsessed with Coronation Street. It said in the paper not long ago that they were going to open the old set as a tourist attraction when the other new set was being built in Salford. Now you say that it's not going to be opened she is now sorely depressed and is on diazapan.
