Conversation Street Podcast Episode 391
Gemma's been away on a mini break to Copenhagan this week (though unlike Ryan Connor, she fortunately didn't have to enlist the services of a loan shark to fund it!), which means that it's a very late podcast! This week, we're chatting about the episodes of Corrie shown in the UK between the 18th and the 22nd November.
There were some poignant scenes in both Daniel and Paul's stories this week, as the former struggles to hold things together for Sinead's funeral, and the latter opens up to Bernie and Gemma about his past with Kel. Meanwhile, Michael makes contact with the daughter we never knew he had, and Michelle takes steps to ensure that Robert will live to regret ever meeting Vicky.
Next up, we're joined by Maggie Sullivan, author of the recently released novel, Snow On The Cobbles. She talks to us about what it was like imagining the back story of a young Hilda Ogden, as well as creating her own characters to add to the Corrie wartime canon.
That's followed by talk of the completely unsurprising addition of Andy Whyment to the celebrity jungle in The Kabin, and we round things off with more of your listener feedback.
