The previews are in from ITV for next week’s Corrie and Daniel is struggling with all the funeral plans for Sinead’s funeral. Later in the corner shop he defends Bethany who is being baited by Evelyn.
Beth is furious when she hears about this and when she finds Bethany comforting Daniel in Victoria Garden she accuses them of having an affair before Sinead is even cold in her grave.
Daniel calls at No.1 and announces that he’s taking Bertie on holiday to Scotland as it’ll do them good to get away. Adam and Peter are concerned for him but Daniel insists it’s best for everyone. As Daniel and Bertie set off for Scotland, Beth watches, distraught that he’s taking her Godson away and fearing he may never come back.

It was bad enough that Bethany going after Daniel and kissing him robbing Sinead of precious moments with her husband before her death but now Bethany is still going after Daniel like some star-crossed lover instead of giving him the space he needs to properly mourn his wife's passing.
Bethany has been ruined as a character to me.
...right..and he's an even bigger arse for taking off to Scotland with the babe while Sinead could still be spending time with them..Selfish bastard
Bobby Dazzler, I think Sinead is already dead when Daniel & Bertie go to Scotland.
