Coronation Street Blog - finalist in UK Blog Awards 2018
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Thank you to every single person who supported us and voted for us in the UK Blog Awards 2018.
We've received notification this morning that because of your votes, we are a shortlisted finalist in the Arts & Culture Category of the UK Blog Awards 2018.
This is epic! Off the scale! I write this with love in my heart as my emotions are running all over the place.
We'll be attending the awards ceremony in April this year. The winners for each category are decided by judges and whether we win the category of not, it doesn't matter because I feel like we've already won for being the best Corrie fan site in the world - as we have been for over ten years. It's a team effort, through and through.
There were 4,000 entries and nominations to the UK Blog Awards 2018 and we are one of only 8 'business' bloggers to have got through to the finals. Because of the entry rules for the UK Blog Awards, we had to enter as a 'business' because we have more than six bloggers on our team. However, it is most certainly not a business. It is a labour of love.
What this means, however, is that we'll be judged on the night against proper business blogs. So the awards bash in April will simply be a treat where Sunny Jim and I will be dolled up in our best bib and tucker...
We're over the flaming moon! Thank you all!
You can read all about our last visit to the UK Blog Awards in 2016 when bloggers Emma and Graeme attended. It's a great read and it's here.
