Rhea Bailey: "Things are about to turn ugly with Caz and Kate"

Rhea Bailey, who plays Caz on Coronation Street, was interviewed on ITV's Lorraine show today.

Speaking about Caz and Kate's relationship in Corrie, Rhea said that their storyline is set to get ugly.

“It’s going to get worse,” Rhea said. “It’s really going to get worse. I apologise on the writers’ behalf! Brace yourself. You’re in for a bumpy ride. It’s going to get ugly. It’s all going to unfold over time. Over the coming weeks and months and there’s an interesting friendship with Caz that’s going to develop…”

Rhea reveals that she was brought into Corrie to do a couple of episodes only, then she was asked to do a couple more, and now they've asked her to stay longer still.  She's been living in California for five years and has moved back to the UK to work on the soap.

Great, just what we need. More Caz. I couldn't care less about Kate or Caz.

I am not looking forward to yet another violent storyline as it's been done to death already courtesy of the Platts.
I'm also getting bored with the Connors too as like the Platts they've been featured in every other storyline.

Im not happy to see yet another Black Female being violent to their significant other. What kind of image of black women are the writers gonna send. Please stop.

An interesting friendship? Probably with nasty (and equally pointless Phelan), equally spiteful Norris or the other-gay-in-the-village Sean. Could also be Jenny, as they would share their hatred of Sophie.
