Coronation Street the tour - coming to a town near you?

Ever since the Coronation Street tour closed in Manchester, I've been wondering about all those old sets and props. Yes, it's the sort of thing I wonder about. Note to self: must get out more.

Well, news reaches us that some bits of the old Corrie set that were on shown in the tour at Granada Studios might be going on tour around the UK.  Note the word 'might' there... nothing has been confirmed yet.

An ITV spokesperson said today: ‘At this stage we have presented an application stating our intent to deliver a touring visitor experience in Glasgow and hope to be in a position to announce further details in the forthcoming weeks.’

Sounds great to me!
