Now then, I like Audrey Roberts. I also like this new fella Freddie on Coronation Street. And I'm quite fond of Ken. But who would YOU like to see Audrey go on a proper date with and start a relationship with?
I vote for Freddie, he's far more fun than Ken will ever be. Audrey is a flighty piece and there's still a lot of life left in her. She doesn't want to be tied down to Ken and his cardigans, just yet, does she?
You can keep your Ken. Let Audrey have a fling with Freddie, I say, and the sooner the better!

Ken is too boring to be a full-time partner for Audrey and Freddie probably hasn't the wealth to do the fun things that she would enjoy. I say keep Audrey on her own but let her have lots of male attention. She can have Ken for dinner dates and the serious theatre, Freddie for trips to the seaside and comedy clubs, and there would still be windows in her diary for other men. I really don't like everyone to be paired off in Corrie. Audrey should live life to the full so she also needs a gang of women friends to go ballistic with.
I too would vote for Freddie, but it's far too soon since he lost his wife, who he was devoted too. I love his friendship with Kylie and how his presence winds Ken up no end
definitely Freddie - he's much more fun to be with
Freddie hands down. But he has just lost his wife.
Although he just lost his wife,I also vote Freddie for Audrey as he is more outgoing and would be a rock to Audrey when and if it hits the fan about Callum's body.
Ken had his chance with Audrey but blew it when he chose Cathy's sister Nessa instead and now has the gall to expect Audrey to be there for him and is jealous of her friendship with Freddie.
Let Ken be alone for a while.
Freddie, he's much more Audrey's type.
Definitely Freddie. He's fun and funny. Ken is too much of a fuddy-duddy and a faux intellectual who tends to look down on people who aren't well read or educated like Audrey.
Audresy comes with the baggage of the Platts. Ken suffers enough from Tracy and the last thing he needs in another step daughter who makes poor choices (Gail). In the interest of preventing cruelty of an old person, let Audrey cop off with the other guy.
I'm half his age and *I'd* hang out with Freddie! He seems like a sweet man with a fun side to him, although I agree he's much too recently bereaved to get involved with anyone.
Well said Humpty Dumpty, I'm sick of all the pairing off too, and it's always much too soon for widows and widowers. It doesn't happen in real life. Freddie is a lovely character who is lonely after losing his wife and just needs new friends. His relationship with Kylie is so refreshing, just pure friendship, a welcome change from all the contrived "romances".
I enjoyed Rita's updates on Emily's trip to Peru? Great to see an older person being so adventurous and I hope this means she will be back.
Well said Humpty and coconno196. Emily's updates and the use of the tablet were spot on.
Definitely Freddie
I obviously missed these Emily updates. Where do I find them?
