Cath is about to get married to her fiance Tom in a few days time. The interview is nice becuase it focuses on her home life with Tom and their baby Alfie. She also talks about playing Eva in Corrie, of course.
She says that on set she's always singing with Shayne Ward, who plays Aidan Connor. “Yes. But me and Shayne just sing all day every day anyway, to be honest. And anything – Motown, pop, musical theatre, even Disney. It drives the others mad.”

It's just as well that she's in Corrie then and not a drama teacher as she can barely act out any scene convincingly herself.
One of the poorest Corrie actors in my opinion.
I completely disagree, Anonymous. Cath lights up every scene she's in. I agree that early Eva wasn't much chop but since Stella left, she has developed into one of the best characters on the cobbles.
What made me very happy about this piece was that, bar the odd stint of maternity leave, Cath doesn't appear to want to follow Paula Lane and Ali King anytime soon.
