After a game of darts in the Rovers, Kylie decides to take Freddie home to meet her kids. She then extends the hand of friendship even further when she notices that Kev's rushed off his feet at the garage. Inside Soap magazine reveal that Kylie has a word with Kevin and lets him know that Freddie is a retired mechanic.
Kevin agrees to give Freddie a chance at the garage and after a successful first day on the job, Freddie calls into the salon on the way home to present Kylie with a bunch of flowers.
And when Audrey sees the flowers that Freddie's brought for Kylie, she asks Freddie if he'd like to go out for a drink, but Freddie declines her kind offer.

I like him too. However, I hope the cast doesn't extend any further. There are plenty of characters on the show.
