Our bloggers Ruth and Emma were at the press screening of next week's #CorrieSecrets week. You can read - and watch - all about #CorrieSecrets week and interviews with cast members here.
As we know, Carla and Nick's wedding takes place as well as Callum's body being found. It's going to be full on with an episode every night after the 9pm watershed too.
As part of the press screening this week, new Coronation Street Producer Kate Oates spoke. She is six weeks into her new role as Producer but, she says, her episodes won't be on screen until the autumn.

I watch both Coronation Street and Emmerdale and I am glad she left Emmerdale, but I now fear for Corrie. Emmerdale has really gone down hill in the last 9 months to a year under her rule.
Let's hope some of her new scenes include a natural disaster that causes half the Street to move and/or work somewhere else. Mix it up a bit, for heaven's sake.
Corrie has been on a downward trajectory since the days of Collinson. Blackburn came in with high promises but turned out to be huge disappointment so I will not make the same mistake with Oates. If she runs it into the ground no big loss as it is dismal already.
One always has hopes with a new producer. But,I'm not overly optimistic with this one- based on what I've heard about Emmerdale, plus some of the comments and decisions she appears to have made thus far.
