Next week on Coronation Street, Leanne's going to get a bit of attention from a new fella on Coronation Street.
The previews reveal that Leanne will have her head turned by a handsome stranger. She's flattered when a good looking guy called Tom chats her up in the Bistro and gives her his phone number.
Tom is played by actor Daniel Casey. He's best known for playing Midsomer Murders chraacter of Gavin Troy.
And, being a huge fan of Our Friends in the North, I'm particularly excited to see Daniel in Corrie. In Our Friends... Daniel played the character of Anthony Cox. He hails from Stockton-on-Tees too. You can read his biography here.

YAY!!!!!!!
I loved Daniel Casey in Midsomer Murders. I'm very excited that he's going to be on Corrie.
Good casting at last!
Welcome to "Sgt Troy". Just catching up on the first few series of Midsomer Murders! Hopefully, he will be a little more "gay-friendly" in this role. He was often called to task by DCI Barnaby. The "theme" was dealt with positively in most episodes of series 1 & 2. Brilliant!
Please also let Leanne have a longstanding fella for once. No ex-prostitute history or explosions. Also, where's Simon?
