Coronation Street lost out to EastEnders again at the National Television Awards last night in the catergory of Best Serial Drama.
However,
Shayne Ward won an award for the soap and bagged the Best Newcomer Award. Alison King lost out on Best Serial Drama Performance too, sadly.

Oh i didn't recognize Trish Merry with her hair down! I must say when compared to a lot of the other red carpet looks, our Corrie women looked so much better! Two or three went with the "tight and sexy" look but at least weren't falling out of their dress in the chest or made up to look like they were wearing plastic masks.
There'll be no living with Aidan from now on! lol
Really though, could those pics be any smaller? Can't barely see them!
Quite a bit of success for ex-Corrie characters - didn't Suranne Jones do well and was pleased to see Bradley Walsh's award with The Chase.
