Here's some preview pictures from the episode of Coronation Street to be shown on Friday 15 January 2016.
Hearing Sally on the stairs, Anna quickly shuts Kevin in the bedroom.
As Sally, Tim and Faye enter the flat, flustered Anna does her best to act normal.
Convinced Anna’s hiding her new man, Sally calls out to him.
Is she about to discover just who Anna is getting cosy with?

I love the idea of Kev and Anna getting together. It works in so many ways but one of the chief reasons is the inevitable tension between Anna and Sally. I'm pretty sure Anna will be able to show more layers to her character. I hope the writers let Sally and Anna find a way to become allies of some sort. Thinking of examples on tv where similar duos have worked well: the daughters (and half-sisters) in Last Tango in Halifax; Hyacinth Bucket and her sister, Daisy; Annie Walker and young Bet Lynch. Looking forward to the comedy and drama.
I can't wait to see the look on Sally's face when she sees Anna & Kevin together. Priceless.
I find the storyline rather silly.Does Kevin need Sally's 'permission'to date Anna? She certainly didn't need his to date and marry Tim. The only people who need to give their blessings are Faye,Jack and Sophie.Frankly after the way she told Anna that Faye wasn't welcome to the house at Christmastime,Sally doesn't deserve any consideration from anyone.
I don't get the whole secrecy factor on this Street. So many times in so many situations people create misery for themselves and others when all they have to do is just tell each other the truth! I know this can be reflective of a shared human flaw but it happens far too often as the root of story lines.
Sally has clearly moved on, having married Tim - what does she care if Kevin is seeing Anna (or anyone else on Earth)?? Given how rude Sally has been to Anna, to the exclusion of Faye, why would Anna give two figs what Sally thinks??
